Volunteering Opportunity
We are very excited to be planning the 2024 Wellington Place Women of the Future event.
Aims:
Wellington Place Women of the Future is an inspirational day to engage with 60 year 9 female students in a non-judgemental, safe environment. Wellington Place Women of the Future gives students the opportunity to gain insight into the career journeys of aspirational women working at Wellington Place. Students will have the opportunity to develop core personal skills such as self-belief, resilience, goal setting and confidence by engaging in interactive activities with female role models from the Wellington Place community. Students will work alongside women from various backgrounds, careers and businesses based at Wellington Place.
The Women of the Future activity provides a moment for students to feel empowered, to feel confident, to feel bold but most importantly, to feel heard. Students will be immersed in Wellington Place life and get to experience an aspirational modern workplace in real time. Where do I come in?
We have four different opportunities for you to volunteer on the day, from a keynote speaker to our day mentors. Please see the volunteering flyer with further details of each opportunity. Volunteering slots are limited so please get in touch soon to avoid disappointment. Ahead Partnership will fully support you with any prep work on the lead up to the day. There will also be a full volunteer briefing ahead of the day.
